GLORY REVEALED II

The WORD of GOD in WORSHIP

To write and record "Glory Revealed II," Mac Powell of Third Day gathered some of his favorite singers/songwriters including longtime friend, Trevor Morgan. Accompanied by other contemporary Christian artists such as Natalie Grant, Matt Maher, Amy Grant and Brandon Heath, Morgan began to write songs specifically designed to put the word of God into the mouths and hearts of the His people. "What's great about the 'Glory Revealed' record is that the songs originate with scripture. There's something amazing about singing God's word back to Him in worship," says Mark Hall of Casting Crowns, who also appeared on the first album.
 

All the songs on the album are taken directly from scripture. On "Psalm 23," Morgan and Geoff Moore sing a lyrical rendition of the oft-quoted scripture that makes it seem fresh and uniquely compelling. Taken from Psalm 116, Shane & Shane's "Cup O'Salvation," is a gentle, beautiful reminder of the grace of God. Bethany Dillon and ShawnLewis deliver a stunning vocal on "Never," taken from Hebrews 13:5-6, reminding us the Lord is our helper. We need not be afraid.

These songs, and more will be performed when Trevor Morgan and others from the Glory Revealed tour sing live in concert at the Lewis County Fairgrounds on August 21, 2010.
